Seeka is a casting platform founded by Bogdana Kotareva, Margarita Kudrina, Maria Ivanova and Maria Strashilova enabling directors, producers and creatives to work together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every person in our database has been individually chosen through a bespoke casting process. We don\u2019t just collect faces \u2014 we get to know the people behind them. We curate our selections carefully ensuring each character not only fits the project visually, but also brings depth and an authentic presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer consultation for every stage of \u0430 project including creative input and feedback in an idea's earliest stages, street casting, coordination, coaching and on-set assistance with non-actors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeka is based in Sofia and Berlin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Margarita Kudrina<\/summary>\n

Born in Sofia, Margarita studied Media and Film Studies at the University of Vienna. For over a decade she has been working in the arts and film as a curator, producer and casting director in Europe and the USA. In her last project The Dreamed Adventure by Valeska Grisebach she worked as a development producer and casting director.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Margarita is based in Sofia and Berlin.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Bogdana Kotareva<\/summary>\n

Bogdana was born in Sofia. She graduated from the Universit\u00e9 de Nice \u201cSophia Antipolis\u201d and Ecole Internationale de Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, France in Performing Arts. She is a member of Panic Button Theatre, based in Sofia. As a freelance actress she is interested in physical theatre, but also in using performing arts as a tool for bringing people together and raising awareness on social problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was part of the casting team of the film The Dreamed Adventure by Valeska Grisebach where she was working closely with non-actors during the casting process. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bogdana is based in Sofia.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Maria Ivanova<\/summary>\n

Born in Sofia, Maria pursued studies in psychology at the Sofia University \"St. Kliment Ohridski\" and film directing at the New Bulgarian University, blending a deep understanding of human behavior with a creative approach to storytelling. Her academic background allows her to connect with people effectively, which has proven invaluable in her career. Recently, she contributed to Valeska Grisebach\u2019s The Dreamed Adventure, working in the casting department to help bring the film's characters to life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maria is based in Sofia, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

Maria Strashilova<\/summary>\n

Maria is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and studied theatre directing in Trinity College Dublin, where she graduated in 2022. Her first professional play, Kino Lenta (a play about Bulgaria\u2019s oldest still-functioning cinema), was nominated for the Askeer Award for Best Contemporary Bulgarian Play. She\u2019s interested in socially engaged theatre and art forms. In her last project, The Dreamed Adventure, she worked as a street casting agent, assistant casting director, and third assistant director.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
